Brixham Operatic & Dramatic Society is a friendly amateur society long established in the town for nearly a hundred years! They generally perform at Brixham Theatre and in a typical year will produce a pantomime, a play and a musical. Past performances include the pantomime ‘Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs’. Plays have included the stage versions of hit TV shows such as ‘The Vicar of Dibley’, ‘Fawlty Towers’ and ‘Are You Being Served?’ Recent musical successes have included ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and ‘Oliver’.
They are very much a family-oriented group who welcome new members of all ages. Membership for adults is £25 per year and £10 for children and this includes insurance whilst in rehearsal and on stage.
Rehearsals and auditions for all our shows take place at BOADS Music Hall, Cavern Road, off Mount Pleasant Road, Brixham TQ5 9RR.
